Our Most Frequently Asked Questions

For every order placed with Yakha, you will be charged a specified delivery fee rate.

We’ll deliver your order by the Estimated Delivery Date provided in your Payment Confirmation email.

You will be able to choose a delivery date that suits you best and your purchase will be delivered on the day you request or on the following day, depending on stock availability. 

Yakha delivers on weekdays between 08h00 and 17h00 and on Saturdays between 08h00 and 13h00. We do not deliver on Sundays and any South African public holidays.  

Please arrange that you are available to accept your purchase. Should you not be available, ensure that you have given someone permission to accept the delivery on your behalf. 

Yakha delivers to registered customers within specified delivery areas. 

It’s not possible to change your delivery address after confirming your order, so please always double check that your address details are correct at checkout.

On every product page, you can see if there is a ‘lead time’ period on an item – the time it would take for us to order the item from a supplier.

For the most efficient delivery service, we wait until all of your items arrive with us before delivering them to you in one go. This means that some lead-time items could hold up the delivery of your in-stock items.

On selected orders, we may be able to split your delivery, allowing your in-stock items to arrive faster. If you want to request a split delivery, click here to give us all your order information.

Bulk orders are delivered by a team from the one of our third-party couriers.

Due to their size, it is advised that these products be delivered straight to the place of their intended use.

Non-Returnable products are typically products which:

  • Fall outside of the product warranty period
  • Are manufacturer warranty products

    A Manufacturer Warranty product is an item whereby the relevant supplier or manufacturer chooses to manage defective product returns directly with the customer. These product returns are not facilitated by Yakha.

Yakha will refund a purchase for the exact amount paid less the following:

  • Any delivery costs already incurred by Yakha;

  • Any restocking fee for special orders.

  • Refunds will only be processed in accordance with the refund and returns policy, and in the payment method that was used when the order was created, and into the account it was paid from e.g. credit card, EFT.

  • Yakha, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to refund a maximum of R10 000.00 (ten thousand rand) in cash , the balance must be paid via EFT.

  • A refund can take up to 7 (seven) business days to reflect in your account, and EFT refunds are subject to verification of your banking details.

  • If for any reason you would like to cancel an order, this may be done by contacting our Help Centre using the form below.

  • We reserve the right not to refund the delivery fee in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment method should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay to the full purchase price, including all costs incurred by us relating to the recovery thereof.

  • You may return a product, at your cost, to any supplier store provided you have the original invoice/proof of purchase and have complied with the required terms and conditions set out by Yakha.

Yes, we offer exchanges for size and colour variations within 30 days of delivery subject to product lead times. We offer replacements for the following:

  • The product is defective or damaged
  • The product is not what you ordered or not as described

If you have changed your mind and would like to return an unwanted product, note that these items can only be returned if they are in the original product packaging with all seals intact, including labels and stickers.

If you’ve received your order confirmation but not yet paid for your order (e.g. if you’ve selected to pay by regular EFT , then you can request a cancellation below.

If you have paid already, your order can’t be cancelled and your items can only be returned to us after they’ve been delivered. You can do this by following our returns process, as long as your order falls within our Returns Policy.

Most often, order cancellations result from our supplier running short on stock unexpectedly.

While we make every effort to make sure our stock information is accurate when you place an order, occasionally this can happen.

If we’ve had to cancel your order, we’ll credit your account with the value of your order as soon as possible.

It’s not possible to add or remove items from an order once you’ve received your payment confirmation email.

Items can be returned to us after your order has been delivered by following our returns process, as long as your order falls within our Returns Policy.

Occasionally, where the limited deal-priced stock of an item sells incredibly fast, the product page price might take a short time to update, but the price displayed in your cart summary when you check out will always be the correct and final price of the product. Always double check your final cart summary before checking out.
