ReYard House | Team Bosphorus

The ReYard House has been designed and built by Team Bosphorus for the Africa edition of an international collegiate sustainable and energy efficient building competition ‘Solar Decathlon’. Team Bosphorus is-the first Turkish team competed in Solar Decathlon-including students and professors from two well-known universities of İstanbul/Turkey; İstanbul Technical University and Yildiz Technical University.

Abijo Mosque | Patrickwaheed Design Consultancy

Patrickwaheed Design Consultancy (PWDC) has completed a mosque in Abijo. It is a building donated to the Abijo community by Crescent Bearers 1939 Lagos. CB 1939 is an association that was set up over 80 years ago. Their focus has been to promote community centered educational, religious and socio-cultural activities.

Battery Park | dhk Architects

Battery Park is a new 12 000 sqm (1.2 hectares) urban park situated at a key entranceway to one of Africa’s most visited tourist destinations, the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa. Developed as the nucleus of a larger urban vision for the district, the site includes a park and piazza that effectively conceal a 1 206-bay parking facility as well as new pedestrian routes to invigorate the precinct with activity. The site is of archaeological importance as it contains the remnants of one of the city’s oldest structures, coastal fortification the Amsterdam Battery.
